The Ginza is Japan’s most famous shopping, restaurant and amusement area with branches and shops of all (really all!) well known providers of luxury goods in the world – and an extremely expensive area – one square meter costs more than 100.000 US$. In earlier times in this area many factories for silver mints were located, and this is as well the origin of the name ‘Ginza’.
